A leading expert on Green IT will give an overview of the four main topic areas, including some science, some elephants, and why the cloud may not be as green as it purports to be. Information will be provided on the work of the BCS specialist groups for Green IT and Data Centres in the field including the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres and the CEEDA award, and the work planned for the future.
