IET Surrey Network

IET Local Networks are managed by groups of volunteers. Networks organise events to raise awareness of science, engineering and technology in their local area and promote membership of the IET. All Network events are open to the public and most are free of charge.

The Surrey Network of Europe's largest professional engineering society formed by the merger of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers on 31st March 2006.

Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, we aim to provide opportunities for business leaders, academics, engineers, technicians and anyone with an interest in how technology shapes society to meet. Our 5,000 local members range from students to the most distinguished and highly qualified members of their professions, covering electrical, electronic and manufacturing science and engineering.

Upcoming Events

Please note that there is a change of event from that mentioned in the 'white book' for
16 May. There will not be the debate due to logistical reasons but a  lecture in the Lakeside Restaurant on the 'Thameslink Programme',  which  is a railway theme and you should go to the events page for  details of the event and how to book.
