Welcome to the 2011-2012 events programme
Following a successful 2010-2011 session, with some outstanding evening talks and visits, the IET Beds & Herts Network welcomes you to its 2011-2012 programme of events. Details of all our events can be found on our events page. The programme of events is also available to download as a booklet.

Specialised sectors
There are two engineers luncheon clubs that operate in our geographic area.
- Bedfordshire Engineers Luncheon Club (BELC)
Established in 2002, BELC provides opportunities for professional engineers and their partners or friends to meet socially, to enjoy a meal together and to listen to a talk of general interest. They also arrange occasional visits to local places of interest. - Hertfordshire Engineers Luncheon Club (HELC)
Established in 1997 to provide opportunities for professional engineers and their partners or friends to meet socially, to enjoy a meal together and to listen to a talk of general interest. They also arrange occasional visits to local places of interest, as well as long weekends away in Britain and the Continent.
