Fundamental
These courses provide an opportunity for those of a non-electrical background and limited electrical knowledge to understand the terminology, basic electrical theory and the responsibilities of working with electricity.
Wiring
Managers, supervisors, practising electricians and electrical contractors need to be conversant with BS 7671. These courses offer a chance to understand the application of the Wiring Regulations and the principles associated with design and electrical installations. It is particularly appropriate to those working in the domestic and commercial industry.

Test and maintenance
These courses cover the principles of testing fixed installations and/or portable appliance testing. They cover the forms required and how to complete them and they offer a chance to put theory into practice and to gain recognised qualifications.
- Certificate of Competent Management of Electrical Equipment Maintenance - City and Guilds 2377-100;
- Certificate of Competence for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - City and Guilds 2377-200;
- Testing of Electrical Installations;
- Level 2 certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification - City and Guilds 2392-10;
- Level 3 certificate in the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations - City and Guilds 2391-10;
- Revision day for City and Guilds 2391-10 written examination;
- Electrical Maintenance;
- Periodic Reporting of Commercial and Industrial Electrical Installations - new for 2010;
- Periodic Reporting of Domestic Electrical Installations - new for 2010.
